2 cups of tea per day is beneficial to extend the life
Recent research reveals that women in their 70s and 80s will live longer, if they regularly drink two cups of tea every day.
The content of flavonoids found in tea is said to reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. Flavonoids are chemical compounds found in plants, especially chocolate, red wine and coffee.
But according to recent research, the tea has the largest number of flavonoids that are needed by women. As reported by the Daily Mail (July 10, 2015), researchers from Australia have analyzed the health records of more than 1,000 women aged 75 years and over.
The researchers collected information on participants' diets, including the amount of tea and coffee they drank. Eighty-eight percent of women who participated in the study were still alive until the end of the study, and they are regularly consumed flavonoids.
Previous research has also found that flavonoids have several health benefits, including lowering blood pressure, reducing the risk of blood clots and strengthens bones.
Not only that. Recent research also shows that fluoride and flavonoids found in tea is very good for dental health because they can kill the bacteria that cause decay and bad breath.
